Hi I’m Rich Pargeter, owner and chief designer of QuickSiteStudio.com.

I’ve been into art and design for as long as I could pick up a crayon. After graduating from University in 1998 with a First Class Honours Degree in Visual Communication specialising in Illustration I briefly started freelancing as a Children’s book illustrator, before being signed as an artist by the UK’s leading fine art publisher and distributor – DeMontfort Fine Art.

I worked with DeMontfort for 10 years, during which I had many sell out collections with my work being sold around the world in many luxury galleries including Harrods.

More recently I began Quicksitestudio.com, my web development business specialising in helping small businesses and sole traders build a presence on the web.

Designing websites and online graphics has become my passion. I think I designed my first site about 15 years ago (which at the time I thought looked pretty cool) and have designed many more for myself since. In the last 12 months I’ve started designing for other people. I think because I have money making websites myself I have an empathy with my clients that maybe most designers don’t.

Not just about design

For the last 3 years I have been active in the Internet marketing space, both for my own business websites and receiving training from some of the best marketers online.
This means I not only know how to make a website look good but have an extensive knowledge of how to get a website ranked well in Google giving my clients’ business the best foundation online.

I’m based in the UK and have been married for the last 6 years to my wife Sarah and have a beautiful 4 year old daughter Chloe, an 8 year old Jack Russell called Millie and a big love of anything Apple (my iPad2 is my new best friend).
